Welcome to The Winchendon School from The Business Office. The Business Office is responsible to ensure there are adequate deposits of funds to a Student Charge Account available to your son/daughter during the course of the year. As a non-profit organization, financially supported by tuition and contributions, the Student Charge Account helps to pay for various activities, and fund allowance accounts. It also helps to pay for unexpected medical expenses that are not covered by normal health insurance programs, such as co-pays for medication during the school year, or travel to the doctor’s office or hospital. This account also will help pay for the additional cost of airport, bus or train pick up charges. These are your funds, which are managed by us on a weekly basis. A statement of account is provided to you monthly to see what charges have been made and if there are still funds available for the balance of the year. The following is a list of some mandatory and optional charges that will be billed through the Student Activity Account. In reviewing these items, we suggest you discuss with your student what optional items are reasonable for them to charge.
